How do I change a tire on a Honda Accord?

How do I change a tire? I was about to leave to drive to my friend’s house for his holiday party when I noticed my car had a flat. I’ve never changed a tire before.

Don’t worry; there’s always a first time for everything! Changing a tire is fairly easy.
Here’s how you change a tire:
  • Put your car in park and step out of the vehicle. Go to the rear of your car and open the trunk. Find the tool case and spare tire.
  • Take out the handlebar and lug wrench from the tool case. Use the handlebar to remove the wheel cover from the faulty tire. Next, use the lug wrench to loosen the wheel nuts, but do not remove them.
  • Place a block in front of one of the tires to prevent the car from rolling.
  • Take out the jack from the tool case.
    Put the jack
under the car, but make sure it’s close to the flat tire. Using the handlebars of the jack, raise the vehicle. With the vehicle raised, you can now remove the wheel nuts.
  • Take out the flat tire by gripping the treads and gently pull it towards you. Put the flat tire aside and mount the spare tire.
  • Screw on the lug nuts and secure them in place. Next, lower the car and tighten the wheel nuts two to three times.
  • Put all the tools back in the tool case. Take the flat tire and store it back in the trunk, along with the tool case.
And just like that, you have learned how to change a tire on your Honda!
