How can I get a cheap non owners car insurance policy?
I live in Los Angeles and really don't need a car; however, I rent one when I drive to visit family in Big Bear. I thought I could save money on the rental insurance by getting non owners car insurance, but it seems really expensive. How can I make it cheaper?

“Buying insurance from a rental car company can be very costly, but buying a
non owners car insurance
policy can be expensive as well, depending on where you live. Since your Los Angeles address is the one being used as the “”rated location”” for the non owners policy, it will have a Los Angeles price tag. Depending on how often you drive to Big Bear, it may be cheaper to go with the rental agency’s coverage.
Also, keep in mind that most non owners policies do not have
comprehensive insurance
or collision insurance
