How can I fix the front bumper on my Toyota Camry?
The other night I was trying to avoid hitting a deer and ran up on the curb and dented the front bumper on my Camry. Is there any way I can fix the damage?

I’m sorry to hear that you damaged your bumper. Luckily, you can get minor dents out of your bumper with relative ease.
Because the bumper of a
Toyota Camry
is made of plastic, you can use the following technique to fix dents:- Apply heat to the dent with a heat gun, hairdryer, or warm water. Avoid holding the heat in one spot for too long to prevent damaging the paint.
- Push the dent out from the inside using a rubber-tipped dowel or any instrument with a long, sturdy arm and a gentle edge. Theoretically, a pole with a cloth wrapped around the end would do the trick if you have nothing else.
- Repeat this process until the dent is gone.
