I misplaced my car insurance card recently and I can’t seem to find it anywhere. I’m leaving for a road trip in a few days and I want to make sure my car is still insured with the proper coverage. How can I find out if my car is insured and up to date?

policy, especially before a road trip.To find out if your car is currently insured and what

are on your policy, locate your policy’s declaration page
. You can find your declaration page and policy details using any of these methods:- Log into your insurance company’s app or website to view your policy details and make any policy changes.
- Call your insurance company and ask if you are still insured and what coverage you have. (You can also request a physical copy of your insurance documents if you need them.)
- Search your email to see if your policy information was sent to you when you purchased the policy.
- Check your important documents in your house. Many people put all of their important documents in a folder or safe.
If you discover you are no longer insured, stay off the road until you get a new policy.
