How can I change the windshield wiper blades on a Toyota RAV4?
I was driving down the highway the other day in a downpour and my driver-side windshield wiper came completely off. I’m not sure how it happened, but now I only have one windshield wiper. How do you install new windshield wipers on a Toyota RAV4?

, follow these simple steps:- Purchase new windshield wipers. Be sure they are the proper size. If you’re unsure which size to buy, check your owner’s manual or speak to someone at your local auto parts store.
- Position wipers midway across windshield by turning them on and off again when they reach the right position.
- Lift the wipers away from the windshield for easier access.
- Undo the hooks holding your windshield wipers to their bases and remove the old wipers.
- Attach the new wipers by securing the new blades to the adapters with the hooks. Be careful to place them on the proper sides.
- Once you’re done, discard the old blades and packaging and test your new wipers.
