To cancel your Assurant renters policy, call the customer service line and have your account information ready.
Start by finding your account information. You may be asked to provide your policy number, your name, and your address. Find this information on a previous billing statement.
Call Assurant’s automated customer service line at 1-800-432-8612. Live agents are available during regular working hours. Provide your information and request a policy cancellation. Set the date you’d like to cancel the policy.
That’s it! Once you receive your cancellation email and your prorated refund, you’re all set.
