Does Wells Fargo refinance car loans?

I want to refinance my car loan. I currently have a bank account with Wells Fargo. My car loan is with another bank, but I’d like to go through Wells Fargo for my refinancing so I have all of my accounts in one place. But does Wells Fargo even offer refinancing?

Yes. Wells Fargo is one of the largest providers of
car loans
in the United States, controlling about 6% of the overall car loan market, including auto loan refinancing in addition to new car loans.
Customers are attracted to Wells Fargo’s auto refinancing because the company offers some of the most competitive rates. It also has:
  • More than 50 years of auto financing experience
  • Over 5,200 branches nationwide
  • Refinancing and car loan-specific customer support
  • 24-hour access to your account
  • A network with 11,000 car dealerships around the country
Keep in mind: You should only refinance with Wells Fargo if they offer you a better rate than your current loan. In addition, see if your current lender has any
prepayment penalties
that could offset the savings you would otherwise enjoy by refinancing.
And before settling on Wells Fargo, you should also shop around other lenders to ensure better rates don’t exist elsewhere.
