Yes, the 2022 GMC Sierra has adaptive cruise control, but it is only available on the top three trims—the Denali, AT4X, and Denali Ultimate.
In case you don’t know, adaptive cruise control is a more high-tech version of regular cruise control. With regular cruise control, once you set your vehicle to a cruising speed, you’ll travel at that speed until you brake or accelerate.
Adaptive cruise control is slightly different. The truck’s computers will adapt your cruising speed based on the vehicle ahead of you. If that vehicle brakes (suddenly or not), your Sierra will kick into action and adjust your speed based on what’s going on ahead of you.
This is a pretty slick feature, so it’s not surprising that it is offered on the Sierra’s top three trims only. How much will those trims set you back? Here’s the damage:
GMC Sierra Denali: $64,595
GMC Sierra AT4X (off-road): $78,295
GMC Sierra Ultimate Denali: $83,695
