Does the BMW extended warranty cover the battery?

Can I get a new battery under the BMW extended warranty? Mine is dead and it’s not even that old, but I’m not sure if it’s covered by the warranty or not.

The BMW extended warranty does cover the battery for eight years or 80,000 miles, whichever comes first. If you haven’t had your battery for long, you can likely get it replaced for free at your BMW dealership.
It’s also possible that the issues you’re experiencing have a different underlying cause. Luckily, as long as that cause is due to manufacturer error rather than wear and tear, the problem can be fixed under warranty.
