Does the 2012 Mazda 3 have Bluetooth?

I’m looking at a used car for my teen daughter, but I know that whether or not it has Bluetooth is going to be a huge issue for her. Does the 2012 Mazda 3 have Bluetooth?

Your daughter is sure to be delighted with a
Mazda 3
, and even if it’s missing Bluetooth, that’s an easy and affordable fix.
Certain 2012 Mazda 3
trim levels
came with Bluetooth, but some only had it as an add-on option at the time of purchase. Since it was not always a standard feature, the used Mazda 3 you’re looking at might not be equipped.
However, that doesn’t mean you should write the Mazda 3 off. You can
add a Bluetooth adapter
cheaply and easily to bring the car up to modern tech standards for streaming and hands-free calling!
Aftermarket Bluetooth adapters are very affordable, with some costing as little as $5. And they’re super easy to install. You’ll just need to plug it into your Mazda’s auxiliary audio jack. After that, just follow the aftermarket adapter’s instructions to pair your phone, and you’re good to go!
However, we recommend going over some
safe driving tips
with your daughter before she sets out in her Mazda. Bluetooth eliminates some of the risk of
distracted driving
, but it’s not a guarantee against it.
