Does Florida have a distracted driving law?

I text and drive all the time. I know it’s a bad habit, but I live in Florida and I don’t think there are laws about it. Does Florida actually have laws regarding distracted driving?

Florida
is one of the last states to have not enacted laws regarding distracted driving. However, the recent Put It Down: Focus on Driving campaign has at least brought attention to the problem.
That said, Florida does not have a distracted driving law, although they do have texting and driving laws that come with a fee of $30.
This ticket doesn’t go on your permanent record, but the fine will increase for every subsequent infraction of texting and driving you are pulled over for, up to $100 a pop.
