that are equipped with electronic toll collection capabilities.EZ TAG is an electronic toll payment system operated by the Harris County Toll Road Authority. It allows drivers to pay tolls electronically without having to stop at a toll booth and pay the toll physically. Like the TxTag, EZ TAG can also be used throughout Kansas and Oklahoma.
The EZ TAG is a small electronic transponder that sticks to the inside of your windshield. When you pass through an electronic toll area, the toll is deducted from the tag holder’s EZ TAG account. It is up to the tag holder to ensure that their EZ TAG account has sufficient funds to pay for tolls. Not maintaining sufficient funds can result in a toll violation.
