Does Alabama have toll roads?

I’m on a quest to travel throughout all 50 states in the country. Next up for me is Alabama. Before I travel, I always like to know if the state has any toll roads so I can budget appropriately or avoid the toll altogether. Does Alabama have any toll roads within its borders?

Alabama
has four toll roads. They’re all avoidable, but they’re also fairly cheap. Here’s a quick list of the toll roads and their corresponding fees:
  • Montgomery Expressway Bridge: $1.50
  • Tuscaloosa Bypass: $1.50
  • Emerald Mountain Expressway: $1.75
  • Foley Beach Express Toll Bridge: $2.75
Embarking on a trip through Alabama and around the rest of the country sounds like an epic adventure. However, you want to make sure you’re protected with an affordable
