Yes! Exhaust tips will change the sound on a diesel engine just like it will on a gas engine.
Keep in mind that exhaust tips are purely aesthetic. So while your Rabbit will sound stronger and look a little cooler, tips do not enhance the engine performance.
The Volkswagen Rabbit has a unique sounding engine since it has a 5-cylinder engine instead of the standard 4 or 6- cylinder engines. In addition, the price of exhaust tips can start as low as $10 so this is an easy and cheap modification that will have your Rabbit roaring like a lion in no time!
