Can you wear blue light glasses while driving?

My blue light glasses are really helpful when it comes to reducing glare. Would it be illegal or dangerous to wear my blue light glasses while I’m driving? It seems like it could help at night especially when there are a bunch of headlights on the road.

Yes, you can wear blue light glasses while you’re driving, but they might not help very much with the glare. Modern blue light glasses have clear lenses with a slight tinge of yellow, red, or orange. These glasses will do little to block out the intense blue light coming from modern LED
headlights
.
If you buy an older style of blue light glasses with yellow-tinted lenses, you might see a slight change in the quality of your night vision. However, you should avoid glasses with red or orange tones, as these limit your visibility by blocking out other wavelengths of light as well.
