National Car Rental usually allows you to drive across the border into Canada.
However, they don’t allow certain vehicles to cross the border, including:
Exotics or specialty cars
Large passenger vans
Cargo vans
Before signing the rental agreement, let the agent know you plan to drive the vehicle to Canada. They may have additional restrictions or require additional information.
Keep in mind: Cross-border travel into Canada also requires a Canadian non-resident insurance card, which acts as proof of insurance throughout the country. Ask at the rental counter for one of these cards before you depart.
