Can you put a turbo on any car?

I really enjoy driving fast cars, and while my new Chevrolet Camaro does pretty well, I want to try and boost it even more with a turbo. Can you put a turbo on any car or just specific ones?

You can turbocharge almost any car, as long as the new equipment you need to add can fit on (and in) your vehicle
Turbocharging – when done correctly – can significantly increase the amount of horsepower your engine has.
Here’s what you can do to get your vehicle turbo ready and make sure you’re getting the most horsepower possible:
  • Upgrade your exhaust system with larger diameter pipes.
  • Upgrade clutch system for an engine with higher torque.
  • Replace the Engine Control Unit (ECU) with one that can handle turbo inputs.
  • Upgrade the engine’s fuel system.
