Can you get a GMC Yukon lifted?

I have an old GMC Yukon that I was thinking might look cool lifted. I will do it myself for the challenge, and so I don’t have to pay someone thousands of dollars. I just wanted to double-check, can you lift a Yukon? I’m not going to destroy the suspension or something like that, am I?

That sounds like a really fun project you’ve got there! In answer to your question, yes—you absolutely can lift a
GMC Yukon
. It’s one of the more popular vehicles for aftermarket lifting.
It’s generally agreed upon in the car modding community that 4 inches is about the most you should lift a Yukon. If you’re worried about degrading your Yukon’s handling, you might consider just doing a 2-inch lift to start and see how that handles.
The big thing to worry about after lifting a car is the dramatic impact that it can have on your
car insurance
premiums. Some providers try to steer clear of vehicles with suspension modifications or charge more than an unmodified vehicle.
That’s alright, though, because you’ve got
