Bringing another car will make it so much easier to get around and explore your destination—but unfortunately, you can’t flat tow a Nissan Pathfinder of any model year.
Until recently, the Pathfinder used continuously-variable transmissions (CVTs) on their cars, which are not compatible with flat towing. But even a brand new 2022 Pathfinder—which does not have a CVT—still shouldn’t be flat towed. In general, it’s not safe to flat tow a vehicle with an automatic transmission.
If you want to take your Pathfinder with you, you’ll have to use a tow dolly or a trailer pulled behind your RV.
