Can you flat tow a Hyundai Kona?
My wife and I are planning an extended road trip with our RV this summer. In the past, we always flat towed our car behind the RV, but we just got a new vehicle and I want to make sure it’s safe. Can you flat tow a Hyundai Kona?

Unfortunately, no. You should not flat tow a Hyundai Kona. In fact, Hyundai specifically advises against flat towing its all-wheel drive vehicles, as doing so could cause major damage. If you want to tow your Hyundai Kona behind an RV, you’ll instead need either a wheel lift and dollies or a flatbed trailer.
Here are a few more reasons why you shouldn’t flat tow your Hyundai Kona:
- You could damage your car’s drivetrain or transmission, both of which can be costly to fix.
