We’re dusting off the old RV for a little camping trip next month and I was wondering if I could drag (well, tow) my Ford Fiesta along. Can you flat tow a Ford Fiesta behind an RV?

Heading out into nature in an RV sounds like a great idea! In most cases, you can flat tow a Ford Fiesta behind an RV.
However, there are a couple of limitations:
Ford Fiesta ST models are NOT compatible with flat towing
You cannot exceed 70 mph while flat towing a Fiesta (though it’s unlikely you’d hit these speeds in an RV)
There are no distance limits for a Ford Fiesta, so you should be able to tow that baby as long as you need to. Just make sure that you follow the instructions in your owner’s manual to safely put your Fiesta in flat tow mode.
This will involve shifting your Fiesta’s transmission into Neutral and removing the black (negative) cable from your battery to keep the battery from draining during the drive.
As you plan for your camping trip ahead, it’s a good idea to make sure your Ford is protected against every possibility out there.
