Can you flat tow a BMW X5?
I want to bring the X5 with me on a two-month trip to California but I’m driving my camper van so I’ll need to tow my car. Can I safely flat tow a BMW X5?

Unfortunately, you cannot flat tow a BMW X5. While some BMW owners claim that you can flat tow your X5 at low speeds for short distances, it is generally agreed that you should not attempt to transport your BMW in this manner if you’re traveling long distances.
Instead, you could tow your BMW using a tow dolly or a trailer. Either of these can be rented at most moving truck rental companies, so you should be able to get your hands on the necessary equipment pretty easily!
