Can you drive in 1-3 inches of snow?

I live in Kansas City, so we get snow a few times a year, but never that much. However, a storm is supposed to blow in overnight and dump 1 to 3 inches of snow. Is it safe to drive in 1 to 3 inches of snow?

Although
Kansas City
doesn’t get much snow, driving in it is always a concern. Thankfully, you can drive in 1-3 inches of snow with little problem. All you need to do is follow a few steps to ensure your safety behind the wheel:
  • Put snow chains on your tires
if the snow has compacted or turned to ice.
  • Always drive slowly or slow enough for the conditions involved.
  • Pay attention to road conditions and get updates from television or radio before you travel.
Although you need car insurance to legally get behind the wheel, you can add some peace of mind by getting the best rate via the

app.
