Can you drive for Uber with a DUI?

I want to pick up some secondary income by driving for Uber. My only issue is that I got a DUI about five years ago. Can I drive for Uber with a DUI or does this disqualify me?

You can drive for Uber with a
DUI
, but only if the DUI occurred at least seven years ago. Since you got a DUI five years ago, you’re disqualified from driving for Uber. You’ll have to wait the additional two years and then apply again.
Other qualifications for driving for Uber include:
  • Three or fewer minor traffic violations in the past three years
  • No major traffic violations in the past three years
  • No felony charges, such as vehicular manslaughter or vehicular homicide
