Can I Take My Truck To The Drive-In Movie Theatre And Sit In The Bed?
There’s a drive-in theatre near my house and I go there almost every week, but I take my sedan. I’d like to take my truck and sit in the back with a couch or mattress. I‘ve never seen anyone do that before, though—is that allowed?

Usually, you will be allowed to take your truck to the drive-in and sit in the bed—but there are some things that you should know before doing so.
First of all, you should be aware that you’re not allowed to park in front of anyone with a truck or lifted vehicle—since it would block their view. If you do, you’ll be asked to move.
Sometimes drive-ins will have certain spots specifically designated for trucks. You’ll need to get there extra early in order to make sure that you claim a spot that you’re allowed to use.
Additionally, you should make sure that you bring a wireless radio with batteries. Since you’ll be outside, you won’t be able to hear the movie’s audio coming through your car radio. And, of course, plan for the weather—if it’s a chilly night, bring blankets or extra layers. If it’s hot, wear something comfortable and bring bug spray.
