Can I renew my driver’s license online in Missouri?

My driver’s license is due to expire soon and this will be my first time having to renew it. I know a lot of states have an online renewal option, but I’ve never looked into it where I live so I’m not sure if it’s an option. Is it possible for me to renew my driver’s license online in Missouri?

We hear you—getting mundane necessities like renewing your driver’s license done online sounds super convenient. Unfortunately, you cannot renew your driver’s license online in
Missouri
at this time. The state doesn’t currently offer this service.
You will need to go to your local
DMV
and renew in person. Missouri requires its licensed drivers to pass an eye test and a road signs test at each renewal period.
You’ll also need to bring verification of your:
  • Name
  • Date of birth
  • Place of birth
  • Social Security number

list
of documents the Missouri DMV will accept.
