Can I add my car to my parents' insurance to get a cheaper rate?

Can I be added to my parents' policy even if I'm the primary owner and operator? I'll be the registered owner, but I'm only 22. I can't find affordable full coverage for my financed car.

Since you will be the registered owner and operator, you must purchase your own
car insurance
policy if you're living on your own. If you live with your parents, they may be able to add you to their policy. If there are any issues with that, you may have to add one or both of your parents' names to your car title so they can insure it.
It can be a struggle to find cheap insurance, especially if you’re under 25—and especially if you need
full coverage
as a condition of your loan terms, which is always more expensive than liability-only coverage.
Here’s how to find
cheap car insurance
Hope this helps!
