Can I add my car to my parents' insurance to get a cheaper rate?

Can I be added to my parents' policy even if I'm the primary owner and operator? I'll be the registered owner, but I'm only 22. I can't find affordable full coverage for my financed car.

as a condition of your loan terms, which is always more expensive than liability-only coverage.
