Are transition lenses good for night driving?
I was thinking about getting a pair of transition lenses so I don’t have to buy a separate pair of sunglasses. However, I drive at night a lot. Will transition lenses make it easier to see when driving at night?

While transition lenses are more useful for deflecting glare and sunlight when you’re driving during the day, transition lenses are also good for night driving in some cases. The strongest case for using transition lenses to drive at night is that they can create sharper vision in low-light conditions.
With that said, this is usually only possible if you include an anti-glare coating on the lenses themselves. If this upgrade is offered, it’s well worth the cost.
