Are minivans good electric cars?

I’m currently looking at buying a minivan and was wondering if they were good electric cars?

But, that is of course set to change in the near future. VW will be unveling its ID.Buzz next moth (with shipments starting next year in the USA). Ford is dropping a E-Transit van shortly as well but only for commercial purposes first.
The next best option is to go for the Chysler Pacifica PHEV (plug-in electric hybrid). It can go 31 miles per full charge before switching over to an impressively efficient gas engine. The Chrysler Pacific has been a pinnacle minivan for years and the PHEV is an extension of its legacy. By 2028 it too will come in a fully electric model.
