are electric cars good in the snow?

I’ve just got my hands on a new electric car, but there’s been a bit of snow recently. I know that technology is very good these days, but can I still rely on my ride in the snow? Or am I going to be a little cautious when I’m out there?

That’s a fair question. It does seem like snow and electricity are a terrible mix. That would be the case if EV technology wasn’t so great. These days, though, you don’t have to worry. EVs are specially designed to cope with the elements—with a specific emphasis on snow and rain. In fact, there’s evidence to suggest that your EV might be better in the snow than some gas-powered vehicles. It’s mostly down to their hyper-intelligent design. Furthermore, EVs tend to accelerate more gently, which could be very helpful in snowy situations—where car control is often paramount. Just make sure your tires are in good condition, and you’ll be ready to go! Regardless of how safe you are in the snow, it’s always vital to have the right
