Are batteries covered under the Lincoln warranty?

I bought a Lincoln late last year and I’ve had some issues with the battery. Is it covered under the basic warranty, or will it have to come out of pocket?

Good question—batteries can be expensive, and you don’t want to have to replace them if they’re covered under warranty!
Lincoln
original batteries are covered under the basic warranty for recharging and replacement during the first four years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first. If you own a hybrid vehicle with a hybrid high-voltage battery, it’s covered for eight years or 100,000 miles.
The warranty will vary if your bumper-to-bumper warranty has expired and you’ve purchased a Motorcraft battery. Contact your local Lincoln dealer or Motorcraft retailer for details on warranty coverage and purchase information.
Having a good warranty on your vehicle is important to reduce unexpected costs—as is having a good insurance policy. And you can find one with
