Is driving with a revoked license a felony in Illinois?

I live in Illinois and recently lost my license. I live in a small town and there isn’t a bus to get to my job every day. Is it a felony to drive on a revoked license in Illinois?

We’re sorry to hear that you lost your license. Yes, driving with a revoked or suspended license anywhere in the state of Illinois is classified as a Class B misdemeanor offense.
As inconvenient as it might be, you should wait until your license is reinstated. This will happen after the following are completed:
  • The reinstatement date arrives
  • All of the fees associated with reinstating your license have been paid
