Kelley Blue Book has just announced their most awarded brands of 2021. In keeping with recent years, the list is dominated by Japanese cars, but American brands
explains that in order to win multiple awards, brands must have a history of reliability, comfort, and resale value that consistently put them at the top of awards lists.
Therefore, appearing in this list is indicative of a great year, and both Ford and Jeep can be proud of their 2021 lineups.
Here are the 10 most awarded brands of 2021 (ranked by number of awards):

Ford finished third overall, representative of a very strong showing from the American automaker.
Ford’s award winning 2021 lineup included the redesigned F-150 truck (making it a seven-time Best Buy Award winner), the Bronco (named one of the 10 Most Fun SUVs of 2021), and the revolutionary Mustang Mach-E electric SUV, which was named one of the 14 Best New and Redesigned SUVs for 2021.
Jeep also had an impressive year, winning the seventh most Kelley Blue Book awards in 2021.
The Jeep Gladiator and Wrangler won multiple Best Resale Value Awards, with the Wrangler also winning a 5-Year Cost to Own Award.
The all-new Grand Cherokee K won two awards, and was named one of the 10 Best Road Trip Cars of 2021.

Ford and Jeep will hope to maintain their award winning status in 2022.
Ford has high hopes for the F-150 Lightning electric pickup, and the 2022 Bronco is also expected to impress.
Jeep is hoping the brand new Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer will make waves in the full-size SUV class, with critics praising them for their power and luxurious finishings.
Other American brands will be hoping to crash the party with improved lineups for 2022.
The 2022 Ram 1500 pickup truck, the second-gen Chevrolet Bolt EV, and the 2022 Cadillac CT4 Blackwing are just a few of the American cars hoping to win multiple KBB awards next year.
