Guy Fieri’s Car Collection Lives up to His Taste

background
Buckle your seat belt folks, because we're in the fast lane headed directly towards flavor town. Guy Fieri has been the king of food entertainment personalities for more than a decade, and he has built an impressive car collection along the way.
His collection, much like his career, might be polarizing, with colors and styles a bit different from classic celebrity car collections. While we personally love Fieri and his diverse collection of
car brands
, some may think his taste in cars is tacky—not us. Fieri's collection is ultimately a reflection of his personality, full of classic muscle cars with bright paint colors just as loud and iconic as the man himself.
But before we dive into Fieri's personal cars, one point of debate needs to be settled.
Guy Fieri drives a red Camaro in the intro to his show, “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives”

What's the car from ‘Diners, Drive-ins and Dives’?

Fieri has appeared on numerous shows on The Food Network, but his flagship program is definitely Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. The show is somewhat of a nod to the 1950s, the decade that brought us diners and finned cars.
To fit with the theme of the show, Fieri is always seen driving a classic blood-red Camaro. While there is no dispute that he is driving a Camaro from the ‘60s, some message boards have been less than civil when trying to determine the Camaro's model year.
This is understandable, as the show actually used two different Camaros over its whopping 33-season run. Lucky for us,
HotCars
did some deep investigation to settle the debate over the show's Camaro. In earlier seasons, they used a 1967 Camaro. However, they have since swapped it out for the 1968 Camaro that continues to appear on the show today.

Fieri’s cars stand out as much as he does

Fieri’s collection has a whole lot of yellow. There’s even a photo of Fieri in front of his bright yellow cars that has been turned into a meme in recent years. Fieri is seen standing with his iconic frosted hair and a black shirt that seems to be matching several cars with bright yellow paint and black accents.
While many poked fun at this photo, we wanted to know about the cars themselves.

2008 Lamborghini Gallardo. It's nice to see that the Italian-American host is driving one of Italy's finest cars. The Gallardo is one of Lamborghini's younger models, first debuting in 2003. It was discontinued in 2014, making it somewhat hard to find. Fieri's Lambo is a bright yellow, matching his hair and other cars.
1969 Chevrolet Corvette. The '69 Corvette may be the best model year in this sports car's historic run. This iconic car has a wavy design, making it almost unrecognizable from present-day Corvettes. Of course, Fieri chose a yellow Corvette for his collection.
Aston Martin DB9. Fieri's DB9 isn't displayed as often as his other vehicles, so its exact model year is unknown. If we had to bet, we'd guess somewhere in the late 2000s. Nonetheless, an Aston Martin is one of the finest vehicles anyone can own. After all, it is the preferred car of James Bond.
1996 Chevrolet Impala. Why is Fieri driving an old Impala? Because he's a man of the people, that's why. That, and he is a self-proclaimed Chevy guy. Unlike most of his cars, Fieri's Impala isn't bright yellow. Instead, it's dark green. It might be Fieri's incognito car for when he needs some social camouflage.
