The latest and greatest model of the Honda Accord has been seen making test runs earlier this year.
The Honda Accord has been a popular midsize sedan for years, especially because it's recently become available in a
hybrid model. With small but notable new features and interior upgrades on the 2023 model, we don’t expect the popularity of this car to change anytime soon.
What’s new on the 2023 Honda Accord?
While the changes between the 2022 and 2023 Honda Accord aren’t drastic, there are still some new features car buyers should get excited about on this vehicle.
Honda Car Modelsnoticed a "wider grille, smaller fog lights, and new attractive LED headlights with better graphics" on the 2023 Honda Accord. All these small changes make for a sleeker and smoother exterior design on the new model.
The new Accord also features a medium-size Chrome Wing Grill with two chrome-accented transverse horizontal lines. Plus, it has 18-inch wheels, which is an inch smaller than previous models, a lower roofline, and a longer hood to make the vehicle more aerodynamic overall.
Inside the car, the new features include a larger 8-inch touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay, and just overall faster technology and better quality materials compared to years past. The 2023 Honda Accord will be available in six trims:
Accord LX, Sport, Sport Special Edition,
EX-L, Sport 2.0T, and Accord Touring.
Notable features of the 2023 Honda Accord
Honda didn’t need to make too many drastic changes to their newest model because the Honda Accord already comes equipped with some impressive features.
The six trim levels available in the 2023 model have also been available in 2022 and 2021 models, making sure there’s an option and price point perfect for everyone.
While an official price point isn't available yet, we can expect a price around $27,000 to match the current Accord's pricing.
2023 Honda Accord interior
This car has a spacious interior with tons of headroom and legroom and seats that are equipped with fine leather to add to the luxury feel. Also on the inside of the Honda Accord is an advanced climate control system, a center console for storage, all season floor mats and wireless charging ports.
Exterior and engine
As for the exterior, you’ll find the Honda Accord is available with two turbocharged engines.
There’s also a performance-inspired stance and a fastback-inspired design for an overall head-turning appearance when this car comes down the block.
Why people love the Honda Accord
The Accord has a reputation as being a reliable and safe midsize sedan. This car offers enough storage that it can handle families, but isn’t so overwhelmingly big so it’s still perfectly suitable for solo drivers. Not to mention, the Accord has modern technology features and a pleasant-to-look-at exterior.
People also love the versatility of the Honda Accord. With six trim models, there’s tons of options to choose from with this car. While even the base model will offer you great value for your money, some of the upgraded trims offer you the luxury car feel without a luxury car price tag.
