The Best Convertible Supercars: A Ride Unlike Any Other

In the wide world of
luxury cars
, nothing quite beats a convertible supercar. While some may argue that hypercars are more valuable than supercars, the supercar class of vehicles is more obtainable.
With that in mind, we decided to rank the four best convertible supercars available today. Should you win the lottery soon, you'll know exactly which one to buy.
Luxury car brands make some excellent roofless supercars, though they can cost a pretty penny.

4th: Lamborghini Huracan Evo Spyder

The Huracan Evo Spyder is the higher-end version of the Huracan Spyder. The beefy 5.2-liter V-10 engine now produces 631 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque. This results in a speedy 0-60 time of 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 202 mph.
Even more impressive, it is one of the few naturally aspirated V-10 vehicles on the market, as reported by
HotCars
. This Lambo carries a price tag of $229,428.

3rd: Audi R8 Performance Quattro Spyder

If you're on a budget, the Audi R8 Performance Quattro Spyder is a great alternative to the Huracan Evo, as the basic trim starts at $160,900. It has the same 5.2-liter V-10 engine, but it only makes 612 horsepower and 428 lb-ft of torque.
The Spyder’s acceleration isn’t as good, reaching 60 mph in 3.1 seconds. But it does have a better top speed than the Huracan Evo, peaking at 206 mph. With its menacing front grille, the R8 Performance Spyder is truly a stunning vehicle.
If the Audi R8 Performance Quattro Spyder looks familiar, that’s probably because it is a favorite car of Tony Stark. Iron Man has driven an Audi A8 in several Marvel movies. Robert Downey Jr. has been known to attend numerous Audi trade shows.

2nd: Ferrari 812 GTS

The
Ferrari
812 Superfast is a fantastic vehicle on its own. However, Ferrari improved it even further by eliminating the roof and creating the 812 GTS. The 6.5-liter V-12 featured in the 812 GTS is the same as the one in Superfast. It produces a stunning 789 horsepower and 530 lb-ft of torque, which translates to a 0-60 time of 2.9 seconds and a peak speed of 211 mph.
With the Ferrari name comes a Ferrari price. The 812 GTS starts at $404,494.

Our favorite supercar: McLaren 600LT Spider

It was a tough decision, but we went with the British-made McLaren 600LT Spider. The design of the 600LT Spider looks like a grinning cheetah that's ready to pounce. It's just as impressive under the hood.
The 600LT is a speedier version of the already speedy 570s. The 600LT has a revised aero package, more horsepower, and an improved exhaust system. It comes with a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V-8 engine that produces 592 horsepower and 457 lb-ft of torque. It can get to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds, and the peak speed is 201 mph (roof closed).
While it is slower than the other supercars on this list, we gave the 600LT Spider the number one spot for its stunning looks. Its price isn't too bad by supercar standards either, starting at $256,500.
