The Zodiac signs and their driving habits
Each sign has its own strengths and weaknesses, and this is reflected in their driving habits.
Aries is known to be bold, and they like to ram headfirst into any situation. Unfortunately, this riskiness makes them the second most likely to be cited for careless driving out of all the signs.
Careless driving is the hallmark citation for a rear-end crash. Aries follows only after Aquarius in terms of careless driving. This might be surprising since Aquarius is known as the healer. According to Allure, this sign is a big thinker so they might forget their immediate surroundings.
Scorpio and Gemini are closely matched on the list of Zodiacs with the highest rate of citations for careless driving. Gemini is an air sign that’s constantly juggling multiple ambitions and plans; that’s why it had to double itself. Like Aquarius, they may take on too much at the same time and aren’t able to focus on the road.
Scorpio is a strong sign that likes to have control. But they might sometimes be controlled instead by their ego. Scorpios may be unwilling to improve their driving habits thinking that they have it all figured out.
Cancer, Capricorn, Leo, and Pisces are next on the rankings. The two water signs, Pisces and Cancer, are both extremely in touch with emotions. While this means they’re empathetic listeners off the road, they might lose sight of the task at hand when driving. Cancers are particularly sensitive and being clouded with emotions can heighten the risk of accidents.
Capricorns are ambitious and often strive to achieve greater success in the workplace. They can develop workaholic tendencies and engage in careless driving as they rush from place to place. The fire sign, Leo, likes the spotlight, and might not be as considerate of other drivers on the road.
The final four signs, which are least likely to be cited for careless driving, are Libra, Sagittarius, Taurus, and Virgo. Taurus and Virgo are loyal and dependable signs. Libras are law-abiding and Sagittarius might like to seek thrills, but they don’t do it at the cost of driving recklessly.
Which sign is the safest driver?
Jerry found that Pisces are the safest drivers, with around 5.2% of drivers having violations. The second and third best drivers are Virgo and Libra respectively. Pisces might be surprising since they can be a bit spacey sometimes.
