The 2021
Ford
Edge is one of the leading mid-size SUVs from the carmaker. It promises comfort and good performance.
However, before concluding that it is an excellent choice for your family or personal travel, you may want to check its cabin and see if it fits your preference and desired comfort, convenience, and luxury. Here’s a quick look at the Ford Edge trunk space and
rest of the model’s interior
.
The 2021 Ford Edge has an impressive 41.7 cubic feet of trunk space.

Ford Edge trunk space

The Ford Edge has a whopping 41.7 cubic feet of trunk space. The Ford Edge trunk space is large enough to carry six suitcases, sporting equipment, and baby gear. It should be enough for a family's road trip or camping for a few days.
However, if you want to carry additional items,
Forbes
asserts that you can fold the rear seats to create more space. With folded rear seats, you get a whopping 74.8 cubic feet of cargo space. All the Ford Edge trim levels have nearly similar cargo space except the SE, which is a little compact.
When comparing the cargo space with other non-Ford models, we found that Ford Edge has smaller space than the
Honda Passport
, another midsize SUV with 100 cubic feet of space when you fold the second-row seats. However, it has more space than Santa Fe, Blazer, and Sorento.

How does Ford Edge trunk space compare to that of the cabin?

The Edge has a spacious cabin like the cargo space. The first row passengers enjoy legroom of about 42.6 inches, while the second-row passengers have a space of about 40.6 inches. Forbes states that Edge is near the top of the class, as it beats popular midsize SUVs such as Santa Fe and the Blazer on legroom.
The cabin's headroom has good clearance, allowing tall individuals to sit comfortably without slanting their seats. This model also offers well-padded seats to enhance comfort. Depending on the trim, you may have leatherette or genuine leather seats.
It can fit five passengers comfortably. Passengers can adjust their seats manually. However, the driver's seat can be power adjusted in a whopping 10 ways. All the seats are either ventilated or heated, and the driver's seat has memory settings.
The cabin is a little aged but still looks stylish.
Fred Beans Ford Newton

Other impressive features that come with the model include Intelligent Access with push-button start, cargo area LED lights, and a cargo management system. Passengers also enjoy dual-zone automatic temperature control that creates an optimized interior climate.
