The average used car takes 52.1 days to sell, but the used Tesla Model Y electric crossover took an average of 24.9 days to sell in June.
Most consumers don’t want to wait until January 2023 just to receive the new Tesla Model Y base model. The Model 3 and Model X have waitlists as well. You’d receive a base model Model X in April 2023 and the base Model in October of this year.
Number three on the list, the Ford Mustang Mach-E, has been a highly sought-after EV since its 2021 release. In fact, after wait times exceeded 32 weeks, the American automaker stopped taking orders for new ones.
The iSeeCars list included six hybrid vehicles that included the Ford F-150 Hybrid, the Toyota Highlander Hybrid, the Toyota Prius Prime plug-in hybrid, the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid, and the Honda Accord Hybrid.
Due to soaring prices at the pump, consumers are seeking fuel-efficient small luxury SUVs and luxury sedans. The list included the fast-selling Audi Q3, Audi A4, Land Rover Range Rover Velar, and the Acura ILX.
As far as sporty vehicles, the relatively affordable Subaru WRX and the Chevrolet Camaro convertible both made the list. Compared to most performance models, these cars offer decent fuel efficiency.
If you’re looking for a four-seater, the Kia K5 midsize sedan, Chevrolet Spark subcompact hatchback, Mazda MAZDA3 compact car, and the Honda Civic compact car made the list as well.
Shoppers love the MAZDA3 and Civic for their fuel efficiency and affordability despite used car price hikes. The Chevy Spark is one of the smallest and lowest-priced used cars on the market.
