How to check your 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander gas tank size

The easiest option would be to check your owner’s manual. The owner’s manual of just about every car will tell you the size of the fuel tank on that car.
If you’ve misplaced or didn’t receive your owner’s manual, you can measure for yourself. First, you have to find the gas tank underneath your car. Using a tape measure, find out the height, width, and length of the gas tank. Multiply these numbers together and then divide by 231 (the number of cubic inches in a gallon).
If you don’t want to take measurements, you can drive until your fuel gauge is on E and then fill up. This method won’t be as precise as the first two, but it will give you a general idea of the size of your tank.
