That means once you connect your Apple device, you can enjoy a seamless integration of your favorite iPhone apps and features—like Spotify, Google Maps, and Siri—right on your Pathfinder's touchscreen.
How to enable Apple CarPlay in a Nissan Pathfinder
To enable Apple CarPlay in your Nissan Pathfinder, you'll need an iPhone 5 or newer with at least iOS 7.1 installed.
To connect wirelessly, you must first pair your phone to the car via Bluetooth.
To connect with Bluetooth, press the “Menu” button, then navigate from “Connections” to “Devices” to “Add New”. You'll get a notification on your phone asking for your permission to continue—choose to allow the wireless connection to move forward.
If you aren't able to connect wirelessly, you can connect your iPhone to your Pathfinder with a USB cable. A message will appear on the touchscreen display asking if you want to connect your device for use with Apple CarPlay. Select "Yes" when this message appears.
Once your iPhone is connected and recognized by your Pathfinder, the touchscreen will display your available Apple apps and tools. Now you’re all set!
