2007 Ford Ranger bolt pattern

The bolt pattern for all
Ford Rangers
from 2004 to 2012 is 5x4.5, or “5 on 4.5.” If you’re unfamiliar with bolt patterns, here’s what the lug pattern expresses:
# of bolts x diameter of the circle they form
With this equation in mind, 5x4.5 indicates that your Ford Ranger has five lugs per wheel, set up in a circle with a 4.5-inch diameter.
Now that you know your bolt pattern, you’ll also need your Ford’s wheel and stud size, offset, center bore measurement, and wheel tightening torque specifications:
  • Factory wheel size: 14” and 15”
  • Stud size: M12 x 1.5
  • Offset: -10 to 18mm
  • Center bore: 70.6 mm
  • Wheel tightening torque: 135 Nm

How to measure your Ford Ranger’s bolt pattern

With the information above, you’re all set to swap out your 2007 Ford Ranger’s wheels, but if you want to check your bolt pattern yourself, you can simply count the bolts and use a measuring tape or ruler to measure the diameter!
First, pick a bolt and place your measuring tape on the outer edge of the lug hole. Next, measure from the outer hole of that lug hole to the center of the bolt on the opposite side of the wheel. Since your Ranger has five bolts, you will end up between bolts if you measure straight across, so you can measure to the bolt nearest to the center.
That measurement is your diameter, which goes together with the number of bolts to give you your bolt pattern!
