What’s the best way to keep a black car cool in the summer?

Compared to my friend’s cars, my black car is much hotter in the summer (at least, it feels that way). Are there any ways to keep my car’s temperature lower?

Ah yes, the unfortunate hot summer, dark car conundrum.
The best way to avoid your car heating up is to avoid parking in the sun whenever possible. Park in a parking garage or, if you’re stuck outside, get in the shade. If it’s safe, keep your windows slightly open when the car’s not running.
You can also purchase car shades for the windows, seat covers for leather seats, and a windshield sun shade to keep the sun out as much as possible.
While you’re outfitting your car for the heat, take a look to make sure you’re not overpaying for your car insurance.
