2007 Ford F-150 bolt pattern

Bolt patterns are consistent through the 2004 to 2008 F-150 model years. Most models will have a bolt pattern of 6x5.3 or 6 on 5.3, while the HD models have a bolt pattern of 7x5.3. If you’re new to bolt patterns—also referred to as lug patterns—here’s how to read them:
# of bolts x diameter of the circle they form
That means that regular ‘07 F-150s have six lugs forming a circle of 5.3 inches (150 mm), while the HD models have seven lugs forming a circle of the same diameter.
While the bolt pattern is important, it’s not the only thing to consider when swapping out your wheels. You’ll also need to know the correct stud size, wheel offset, center bore measurement, and tightening torque specs. Here’s what they are for every 2007 Ford F-150:
  • Factory wheel size: 17” or 18”
  • Stud size: M14 x 2.0 mm
  • Offset: 18 to 45 mm
  • Center bore: 87.1 mm
  • Wheel tightening torque: 204 Nm

How to measure your Ford F-150’s bolt pattern

That should be all you need to get a new set of wheels for your Ford F-150. Of course, you could always measure your bolt pattern yourself if you want to make sure. Here’s how to do it.
If you have a regular F-150 with a six-lug pattern, put the end of your measuring tape in the center of any one bolt and measure to the center of the bolt across from it.
Calculating a seven-lug pattern is a bit more complex. Measure from the outer edge of any bolt to the center of one of the two bolts across from it. You could also measure from center to center, but you’ll need to multiply that measurement by 1.026 since the bolts aren’t directly across from each other.
Now you know the diameter of your lug pattern and you can combine that with the number of lugs to get your full bolt pattern expression.
