While many vehicles in the Honda family share the same
Honda lug pattern
, it’s always best to find the bolt pattern specific to your vehicle.
A 2002 Accord’s bolt pattern is 5x4.5.
Here’s what the bolt pattern actually means:
# of bolts x diameter of the circle they form
A bolt pattern of 5x4.5 means that your car has five bolts per wheel and those bolts form a circle 4.5 inches in diameter.
There are several other important specs that you need to write down before you pick out a new set of wheels. You’ll need your Accord’s wheel size, stud size, offset, center bore, and torque specifications. Make sure to double-check your
owner’s manual
, as some of these specs vary by trim level.
Here’s what you need to know:
  • Factory wheel size: 14”, 15”, 16”, or 17”
  • Stud size: M12 x 1.5
  • Offset: 35 to 45 mm

How to measure your Honda Accord’s bolt pattern

Got a ruler or a measuring tape? You can easily measure your Honda Accord’s bolt pattern for yourself.
Pick one wheel and pick one bolt on that wheel. Place the beginning of your ruler at the center of this lug hole.
Now, visualize the circle formed by the bolts and look directly across the circle. There’s no bolt there because your Accord has an odd number of bolts. Instead, pick one of the bolts on either side (it doesn’t matter which) and put the end of your ruler at the outer edge of that second lug hole.
Your measurement should read 4.5 inches. So, along with the five bolts visible in each tire, you can see that your 2002 Honda Accord bolt pattern is 5x4.5.
