background
Youtuber Maxx Powell
is ready to dial it back. The offroad enthusiast admitted that he has too many vehicles to maintain and wants to make smart financial moves by selling his collection.

Maxx Powell has too many engines to obtain

Over the course of his six-year YouTube career, Maxx Powell accumulated a handful of heavy-duty work trucks, Toyotas, motorbikes, and a
Subaru WRX STI
. Does the YouTuber have a workshop or proper storage facility for his vehicles? Nope. He houses them on the grass at his Washington farm.
Though Powell admits it won’t be easy getting rid of the cars responsible for his success, his downsizing plan could fund future ventures for his channel.

What’s in Maxx Powell’s collection

Let’s start with the Toyotas. Maxx Powell owns everything from an FJ62 Land Cruiser to a new Tundra with only 10,000 miles on it.
The V6 twin-turbo Tundra does have quite a few beeps and chimes, but it tows well and gets awesome gas mileage. This one may be easier for the YouTuber to part with, considering he made a “10 Things I HATE about my 2022 Tundra” YouTube video last month.
The 1989 FJ62 Land Cruiser belongs to Maxx Powell’s wife, with an inline six automatic transmission and four-wheel drive. The classy SUV is known for its toughness and resistance. However, Powell hasn’t had the best luck with the Cruiser, as its transmission blew on Christmas leaving him and his wife stranded in the snow. An unfortunate robbery was also involved.
And of course, he has a soft spot for the beloved Tacoma. His first and third-generation models may be the most difficult to say goodbye to. Like his 1998 four-cylinder limited cab body on a single cab frame, that’s chopped in the front and the back. The Tacoma features a custom cage with the YouTuber’s logo and a massive spare tire.
The outdoorsman got his hands on a Subaru WRX STI after the previous owner boasted about the car’s 600 hp. The bright blue Subaru features launch control and takes corners like a dream. While Maxx Powell does enjoy driving the Subie, he’s also afraid of dying “in a ball of fire.”
When it comes to workhorse vehicles, Maxx Powell owns a Bobcat backhoe, a Polaris RZR, a converted Snap-on truck, and a 1980s Ford dump truck with electrical issues that can haul seven tons of rocks.
He’s also got a paramotor, wing, and accessories that allow him to effortlessly take off into clouds from a hill at the edge of his farm. The paramotor features a 185 cc Vittorazi Moster engine from Italy that’s belt-driven two-stroke. What a life this guy leads.
Powell hopes the selling of his superfluous vehicles will help him fund his own personal workshop to build on his career.
