Before we go making sweeping statements about Ferrari similarities, let’s take a look at the nuts and bolts.

breaks it down for us. 
The 2021 Corvette is powered by a 6.2L V8 engine that generates 490 hp. When testing a version with the Z51 performance package tacked on, Car and Driver recorded 2.8 seconds to get from 0 to 60, and the impressively short braking distance of 149 feet from 70 mph. The handling was termed “heroic.”
As for fuel economy, the 2021 Corvette clocked in at 19 miles per gallon combined. This isn’t going to turn many heads, especially if you consider that the comparable Mazda Miata whizzes by at 30. 
But the Corvette’s functionality helps it punch above its weight. It sports a removable roof, plus Mary Poppins-esque trunk and frunk cargo space. Anyone looking to take a cruise and bring along 13 cubic feet of stuff will have room to do so.

The exterior, as you’ve established from your tab exercise, is remarkably Ferrari-like. The Corvette is ever-so-slightly more angular, and the jutting haunches that frame the back wheels are a clear departure from the Ferrari aesthetic, but it’s a pretty close call. The key differences are found once you close the driver’s door behind you. 
The interior of the 2021 Corvette, though beautiful in its own right, lacks the killer instinct of a Ferrari’s. The 2021 Corvette sports a spacious cockpit bedecked in not-quite-black leather, garnished throughout by red stitching that doesn’t seem quite committed. 
By contrast, a red-accented Ferrari SF90 paints it in bold stripes across the wheel and the dash to offset the deep black of the rest of the interior, and the result may not be for you, but it’s definitely strong. 
The Corvette does win in one interior category: it’s clear that whoever is driving is queen of the castle. The console is built up high, and access to the infotainment and temperature sectors of the empire are strictly in her domain. It’s potentially a little insulting to a passenger, but—you get to ride in a Corvette.
