background
The hottest car show of the season kicked off this week in
California
—and the weekend is sure to bring its fair share of hot, high-end cars to the spotlight.
Monterey Car Week kicked off Aug. 17 with the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion at Laguna Seca and will continue through the weekend, concluding with the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance Aug. 21.
So what cars have been making their debut? Let's check out a few of the awesome vehicles being officially unveiled this week.

SSC Tuatara Striker

SSC, maker of the
Ultimate Aero
, is unveiling a new track-only variant of its Tuatara hypercar, the SSC Tuatara Striker. The 282-mile-per-hour hypercar has more downforce than its standard sibling, but keeps its 1,750-horsepower powertrain.

The next DeLorean

Making its long-awaited debut this week is the all-electric DeLorean Alpha5, which is inspired by the DeLorean DMC-12 featured prominently in the Back to the Future series.
It maintains the gullwing doors of its predecessor but with a more contemporary look, while all controls are via a touch screen in the center console. The manufacturer states the
DMC Alpha5
can hit 0-to-60 in 3.4 seconds and has a top speed of 150 mph with a 300-mile range.

The Meyers Manx 2.0

The original Meyers Manx is probably one of the most widely recognized dune buggies in history. And it's now getting new life as an all-electric recreational vehicle for 2023.
The Meyers Manx 2.0 Electric will have up to 300 miles of range (depending on your battery choice) and boasts a 0-to-60 time of around 4.5 seconds, as well as a combined 202 horsepower from its two electric motors.

Cadillac Celestiq

The Cadillac Celestiq—the much-anticipated electric wagon from GM's luxury marque—debuted digitally in July. It's making its IRL debut this week to show off one of its coolest (if not superfluous) 55-inch touch screen display. It's exciting to see what the automaker decides to do with all that real estate.

Hennessey Venom F5 Roadster

The 1,817-horsepower, 311-mile-per-hour Hennessey Venom F5 is getting its top chopped off. The hypercar will get a roof-free version—and likely a warning to keep arms and legs inside the ride at all times.

Acura Precision EV Concept

After debuting the NSX Type S at last year's show, Acura is showing off its Precision EV concept, which is meant to display the automaker's design direction for its upcoming electric vehicles. Not content to stop there, the automaker is also debuting the 671-horsepower ARX-06 endurance racer.

Bentley Mulliner Batur

Luxury automaker Bentley is introducing the Mulliner Batur, which will show off the automaker's electric car design language. It's the follow-up to the similarly exclusive (and very expensive) Mulliner Bacalar.

How do I see these vehicles in person?

It's simple! You just need money. General admission for this year's Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance stands at $525.
Of course, you'd have to figure out how you're going to get there. If that's a little too much, then you should probably start saving for next year.
One great way to save money for better things is by making sure you're getting the best rate on your
