Will I have any issues with the policy if I need to tow my unregistered car?

"Is it possible for me to get a ticket while an unregistered car is being towed? I bought an old beater to practice car repairs; hopefully I can fix it up. It needs to be moved from the owner's house to mine, but I need to call a tow truck since it isn't running. I know an unregistered car shouldn't be on the road."

“Great question! It is only illegal to operate an unregistered car. If a professional tow truck company assists you, you won’t have any issues.
If you try to have someone tow the car behind their private car or truck, then yes, you could get a ticket since all four tires are on the ground.”
