Will AAA pay for a lost replacement key for a 2000 Mercedes?
Does AAA help with replacing keys? I'm a AAA member and I've used their service before when I locked myself out. Now, I need a replacement key.

Contact AAA directly for information on replacement key reimbursement or consult your policy manual.
If you have lost your replacement key and are
locked out of your car
currently, AAA may still be able to help. AAA’s roadside assistance technician can attempt to open your vehicle. If they’re not successful, they can tow your car to a preferred location.
From there, you’d be able to call a locksmith to unlock your vehicle. You could then get a new replacement key made with:
- a locksmith
- through a Mercedes dealership
- checking your car’s warranty”
